Tiruvalluvar Arts and Science College, under the guidance of its dedicated management and faculty, conducted an inspiring Academic Year Reopening and Orientation Programme for second and third year students on 16/06/2025 at the college seminar hall.

The ceremony began with a solemn prayer and traditional lamp lighting, symbolizing the pursuit of knowledge and a new beginning for the academic year.

The entire event was gracefully hosted by Dr.S. Priyanka Head of Chemistry Department and Mr. R.Ajith Assistant Professor of BBA, who led the programme with poise, energy, and professionalism, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for all attendees.

The formal proceedings began with a welcome address by Dr. Radhlakshmi, Head of Tamil Department, who reflected on the college’s growth and student aspirations. Dr.. Sivakamasundari, Head of Microbiology Department, offered heartfelt words of encouragement and gratitude.

Mr. Vincent, Head of Physics Department, emphasized discipline and personal development in his address, followed by Dr. Sivaranjani, Head of BBA Department, who discussed the current challenges faced by youth and the importance of balanced academic and personal growth.

Mrs. Nirmala, Head of Computer Science, introduced new departmental guidelines and highlighted digital discipline for students. Additional congratulatory and motivational messages were delivered by Mr. Sureshkumar, Head of Mathematics Department and Mr. Shakthivel, Assistant Professor of BCA Department each offering unique guidance and perspectives for student success.

Dr.B.Krithiga Head of Biochemistry Department introduced our respected Principal, Dr. Kavitha Senthilnathan, highlighting her unwavering commitment to academic excellence and the overall well-being of students.

The program concluded with a motivational keynote by Principal Dr. R. Kavitha Senthilnathan, who encouraged students to remain focused and goal-oriented throughout the year.

Vote of Thanks was delivered by Prof. Marimuthu, who acknowledged the efforts of all dignitaries, faculty members, and organizing teams for making the event a grand success.

The orientation served as a perfect re-start to the academic journey of senior students, providing them with a clear sense of direction, institutional values, and renewed enthusiasm.
